New Schools in the Regent Park Area

We are proud to announce that The Hammer Band program has been introduced to three new schools this year in the Regent Park area: Sprucecourt, Lord Dufferin, and Rose Avenue Public schools, as well as Yorkwoods PS, located in the Jane and Finch area.

This year we will be teaching string classes to 350 students at 18 schools in Toronto. In addition to Violin lessons, this year we will be offering cello instruction in two schools.

New Logo

With this newsletter we are proud to present The Hammer Band’s new logo.  We believe the chosen image truly reflects the essence of our program.

A thank-you card from The Hammer Band will be sent out to that special someone whom you would like to honour with a donation.

Are you interested in hosting a memorable event for your friends, family, and colleagues? You can hold a fundraising party to support The Hammer Band, featuring performances by Moshe Hammer and special guests of The Band. If you are interested, e-mail:[email protected]

 Adopt a Student from The Hammer Band

With a yearly donation of $500 you can ensure that a young person in The Hammer Band program has the opportunity to continue with violin studies in school.

Donors who participate in the Adopt a Student program will receive a letter of appreciation from a student.
